Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud.
We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.
SEDRO WOOLLEY, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/17/06 -- Doll Technology Group (PINKSHEETS: DTGP)
announced today that the company's television ads have begun airing on the
Home Shopping Network. The regionally-placed ads can be seen on the cable
channel throughout Florida and Arizona.
The TV spots are promoting Doll Technology's AquaBoost Domestic product, a
specially formulated liquid and powder product for domestic use wherever
water for plant growth is in short supply or water restrictions are in
force. Its applications are almost limitless: lawns, shrubs, plants (indoor
and outdoor), vegetables and trees, including citrus and tropic. AquaBoost
works at the root system level to slow infiltration and retain water in the
root zone longer.
AquaBoost Domestic promotes less water use and, at the same time, promotes
healthier plants. Use on house plants will prolong the interval required
between waterings so if a resident is traveling, the plants will survive
for a longer period without watering. AquaBoost Domestic is expected to be
popular with the home retail market.
Concurrently, discussions are continuing with Magna Entertainments
regarding use of AquaBoost on their racetracks. A decision is expected
later this month.
