For the active lifestyle, this new getaway adds a bit of adrenaline to the Mackinac Island vacation. The two-night getaway includes half-day bike rentals, a Mission Point-created Island map to help navigate the island's wooded trails; choice of horseback riding, kayak or paddle surfing rentals, and a to-go kit of healthy snacks, bottled water, sunscreen and Mission Point Resort hat. Lilac Festival Getaway
The Lilac Festival, June 6 – 15, is Mackinac Island's most popular festival. One of the island's most beloved traditions, the festival celebrates the fragrant and colorful varieties of lilacs, many of which were brought to the island in the Colonial Era.
