Level Construction Completes Upscale Interior Build Out of New Lincoln Square Restaurant Grand Tour

CHICAGO, March 28, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Level Construction, a full-service general contracting firm specializing in commercial construction and construction management, recently finished the interior renovation of Grand Tour, an International-themed restaurant and event space. Grand Tour has already received considerable attention in the Chicago social scene and is noted for its warmth and its rustic interior design and construction.

Jesse Boyle, CEO of Premium Themes, owners of Grand Tour as well as Chicago-based restaurants Quay and Red Ivy, credits Level Construction for their professionalism and commitment: "Level took absolute responsibility for the quality of their work and maintaining the financial restrictions of the project," said Boyle. "These are professionals who see the long-term picture in client relationships, and they went above and beyond what I normally see with general contractors." The project was supervised by Cort Shane from the Level Management Team.

Located at 2434 W. Montrose Avenue, the 7,000-square-foot space features a circular bar and holds 200 people in the interior. Furthermore, Grand Tour features a sidewalk patio that can accommodate 100 more patrons. The interior also has a stage for live music and other events.

Level Construction Managing Partner Alex Johnson is very satisfied with the final product and sees future opportunities for upscale build outs throughout the Chicagoland area.  "We've been fortunate to build more upscale restaurants, first with Embeya, Tre Soldi, Tuccino's, and India House, now with Grand Tour," said Johnson. "I believe a part of each's success is attributed to its physical appearance." Boyle seemed impressed by his newest venture's appearance: "The restaurant is beautiful and the quality of the trade work is first-class. Working with Level Construction from beginning to end was an absolute pleasure."

Even though it’s now Microservices Journal, long-time fans of SOA World Magazine can take comfort in the fact that the URL – soa.sys-con.com – remains unchanged. And that’s no mistake, as microservices are really nothing more than a new and improved take on the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) best practices we struggled to hammer out over the last decade. Skeptics, however, might say that this change is nothing more than an exercise in buzzword-hopping. SOA is passé, and now that people are ...
