"Diversity is at the heart of our school," says Martin Pritikin, Acting Dean of Whittier Law School. "It's in the very first sentence of our mission statement: 'We are a diverse community that prepares students to excel in the practice of law.' We are committed to increasing diversity in the legal profession."
In order to attract a diverse student body, Whittier Law School works with discoverlaw.org, a campaign from the Law School Admission Council to encourage racially and ethnically diverse students to explore opportunities in law. The school also hosts a regional event for the Council on Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO) called "Achieving Success in the Law School Application Process."
