Players Network Acquires Weedtv.com Premium Domain for New Marijuana Lifestyle Channel

Players Network Is Developing a New Digital Lifestyle Broadband Channel and Social Community Dedicated to the Booming Legalized Marijuana Industry

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwired) -- 03/31/14 -- Players Network (OTCQB: PNTV), a Digital Television, Technology and New Media company that develops, owns, and operates Branded Lifestyle Channel Destinations, announces today that it has acquired weedtv.com, a premium domain for its new Lifestyle Channel Destination for the Marijuana Industry that will be powered by the company's proprietary NexGenTV(SM) Technology and Enterprise Platform. What differentiates NextGenTV (SM) from other media platforms is the unique combination of programming, social media and enterprise solutions that provides its viewers and members with media, products and services that are relevant to their specific consumer lifestyle group.

The goal of Weed TV is to be the go to source for reliable information, entertainment, products and services for people who relate to the marijuana lifestyle and social community. Weed TV will feature daily stories sourced by weedtv.com correspondents and contributors from around the world. It will provide a wide variety of editorial content, videos and entertainment including lead stories, political news, business news on the industry, financial analysis from industry experts, growing tips, cooking classes, a "Weed101" section, medical uses, lifestyle features, entertainment specials and merchandise shopping cart offering the latest products and services.

The Weedtv.com landing page will be up within approximately 48 hours and the site will launch in April, 2014 with a free membership program providing access to premium videos and incentives to members through discounts, reward programs and contests. A premium subscription membership program is planned to launch later this year that will provide additional membership benefits and access to weedtv.com VOD entertainment specials.

CEO Mark Bradley states: "Weedtv.com is a great brand that is self explanatory to build a robust social community. We foresee exponential growth as more states adopt legalized marijuana. Further, Weed TV provides a targeted media outlet for emerging Marijuana and Hemp companies to advertise goods and services directly to their core demographics and target audience. Mr. Bradley continues: "I strongly feel that the emerging legalized marijuana industry will offer PNTV's shareholders an extraordinary opportunity for long term growth in the future and believe that people will be shocked at the actual audience size of the weed marketplace."
