San Antonio Mazda dealer to add 2015 Mazda6 to new model inventory

Ingram Park Mazda anticipates the addition of the new Mazda6

SAN ANTONIO, March 31, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The 2014 model year was filled with significant changes and upgrades for many automotive brands. One of the most noteworthy redesigns was found in the 2014 Mazda6. The automaker built the vehicle from the ground up in order to propel it to the top of the midsize sports sedan segment. Set to arrive at dealerships like Ingram Park Mazda later this year, the 2015 Mazda6 will be carrying over the current model's impressive updates.

Mazda has continued to exceed auto enthusiasts' expectations with its revitalized vehicles and innovative performance technologies, which was demonstrated when the automaker relaunched its Mazda6. The vehicle received design updates that not only improved its style, but also its performance. Sculptural exterior lines give the 2014 Mazda6 a more aggressive stance, but they also contribute to producing a far more aerodynamic drive.

The 2014 Mazda6 adopted the automaker's SKYACTIV Technology and KODO "soul of motion" design language, which also lend themselves to more than just appearance updates. The implementation of the all-new 2.5-liter SKYACTIV-G gasoline engine earned the Mazda6 a 184-horsepower performance and an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-estimated 40 mpg highway fuel rating. Performing with more strength under the hood in the 2014 model year has positioned the upcoming Mazda6 to continue the legacy well into the 2015 model year.

Standing out in the automotive industry is consistently more difficult, but when a vehicle provides a strong performance with the technology and detailing to match, its chances of surpassing industry favorites are far greater. Enhancing its appeal for tech-savvy drivers, the Mazda6 has also incorporated features like the i-ELOOP regenerative braking system, in-dash TomTom navigation as well as several audio options. These features will likely make an appearance in the 2015 model as well.
