CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/02/14 -- On Thursday, April 3, the Fraser Institute will release a new study examining how private ownership of mineral rights, including mineral rights for First Nations, could improve Canada's attractiveness for mining investment.

The study, Divergent Mineral Rights Regimes, notes that Canada, unlike the United States, does not allow private ownership of mineral rights.

A news release (in English and French) with additional information will be issued via Marketwired on Thursday, April 3 at 6:30 a.m. (EST).
