Central Desktop, the leading cloud-based collaboration platform for marketers and agencies, today announced that software industry veteran Kumar Vora will be joining Central Desktop’s board of directors. Vora brings over 25 years of deep experience in the enterprise software space with companies such as Adobe, Apple, Oracle and HP.
“As the emergence of new technologies and explosion of digital change the face of marketing, Central Desktop is at the epicenter of a critical unmet need for marketers – how to adapt the way marketers work to keep pace with and ultimately get ahead of growing business demands,” said Kumar Vora. “Central Desktop has already made exciting inroads in this area over the past several years, and I am thrilled to lend my expertise to help the company continue driving innovation in this space.”
Vora currently serves as CEO of Acrolinx. Prior to that, Vora’s positions included entrepreneur-in-residence at Foundation Capital, senior vice president of WebCenter Products at Oracle, vice president and general manager of LiveCycle Business at Adobe and co-founder of Oblix (acquired by Oracle). In addition, Vora is an advisor to Alphonso and a board member of Get Satisfaction and NextPrinciples.
