PHILADELPHIA, April 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- IPR International, the premier Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider in the mid-Atlantic region, has been awarded a five-year contract by Morris James LLP to provide Disaster Recovery (DR) in its private cloud environment. IPR distinguished itself from five other strong competitors to win Morris James' confidence and its business.
Morris James, a leading Delaware law firm with offices in six locations throughout the state, serves clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to financial institutions to government agencies. As part of this new agreement, IPR will house Morris James' data in its secure data center, allowing the law firm's IT staff to focus on mission-critical priorities that contribute directly to its growth.
IPR's Business Continuity Center (BCC) is a Tier 3 full-service data center with ample space, power, and cooling located below ground in a high-security building with multi-path, carrier independent network access. Built with redundancy in all areas, this data center provides IPR's clients with unparalleled security and reliability.
"We view IPR as a leader in the Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) realm along with its expertise in infrastructure," said Bill Stone, Morris James' Chief Information Officer. "The fact that IPR owns and operates its Tier 3 facility was a driving factor in our selection process. We were impressed with IPR's expertise, and we look forward to partnering with them to improve our overall operations, along with our Disaster Recovery processes."
The Morris James contract adds to IPR's growing portfolio of clients within the legal vertical, which also includes Potter Anderson, Bayard, Wilson Elser, and Archer Greiner. Overall, IPR's more than 100 clients represent all vertical markets, including healthcare, financial services, and insurance, among several others.
"The Morris James contract solidifies our presence in the Wilmington area and in Delaware more broadly. All of us at IPR are thrilled to be given the opportunity to serve their needs," said Executive Vice President David McLaughlin. "We are gaining momentum in our business as the market is recognizing the robustness of our cloud and colocation infrastructure, the efficiency gains, and the peace of mind our clients get when operating in our 2N facilities."
IPR International, the premier Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider in the Mid-Atlantic region, provides secure colocation, disaster recovery, and private cloud solutions to companies across a range of industries and serves clients in 25 countries.
