IBOC'S Living Sound Choir To Be Featured In 2014 Ncaa ® Division I Men's Basketball Championship Opening Segment

DALLAS, April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Living Sound choir of the Inspiring Body of Christ Church (IBOC) will be featured in the opening segment of the NCAA Tournament, and again at half-time, Monday, April 7, 2014 at 8:00 pm CST on CBS.

The choir, which boasts almost 300 members, had only a couple of weeks to prepare for their national television debut. Singing its own unique rendition of the song, "This Little Light Of Mine," the Living Sound will lead off the tournament in a montage of song, local attractions, and basketball highlights in a tribute to the art of college basketball.

Because the airing of the segment coincides with its weekly Monday School service, IBOC will host a watch party at the church so that Monday School attendees can be a part of the choir's first nationally televised performance.

The Inspiring Body of Christ, located at 7701 S. Westmoreland Rd, Dallas, TX 75237, is a non-denominational and multi-cultural church serving over 10,000 members and guests in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, across the country and internationally.  Thousands of additional viewers and listeners are captured each week through television, radio, and internet broadcasts.

The ministry's purpose is to introduce people to God, lead them to an acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and help them live a prosperous life through Christ. The church has experienced meteoric growth since its founding in 1990 and hosts two worship services each Sunday at 7:30 am and 11:00 am. Those interested may follow Pastor Rickie G. Rush on Twitter @rickiegrush and IBOC @ibocchurch.
