SAGINAW, Mich., April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Yeo & Yeo CPAs & Business Consultants is pleased to announce that Shawn Hyde, CBA, CVA, CMEA, has received the Certified Machinery/Equipment Appraiser (CMEA) designation from the National Equipment and Business Builders Institute (NEBB).

A CMEA has the expertise and training to conduct an independent, third-party machinery and equipment appraisal often sought for business valuations, financing (for lending and leases), tax purposes (estate and gift tax), divorce settlements, SBA loans, insurable value and litigation support. The value of an item is substantiated and reflects the realistic market value of an item.

He can accurately estimate the item's fair market value, orderly liquidation value and/or forced liquidation value. The resulting independent Certified Machinery/Equipment Appraisal Report is defensible and withstands scrutiny with courts, lenders, financial institutions, government agencies, buyers, sellers and shareholders.

Hyde, a business valuation manager at Yeo & Yeo, has more than 15 years of valuation and appraisal experience. He is also a Certified Business Appraiser and a Certified Valuation Analyst. He is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA), the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and the NEBB Institute. When enterprise IT can spin up large computing instances in just minutes, developers can also design and deploy in small time frames that were unimaginable a few years ago.
