On March 31, 2014, Johnson Controls Inc. (Johnson Controls) announced that the Company will help the University of Akron (the university) to reduce its energy consumption across campus and use those savings into university upgrades. According to the Company, the university will initially aim at saving 20% by 2016. Further, the 15-year contract with the university is expected to generate more than $58 million in savings. The program will provide the university with an annual saving of approximately $4 million in energy and operational expenses through reduction in electrical, gas and water consumption. The Company reported net revenue of $521.0 million, up 7.3% YoY in Q4 FY 2013.
