LONDON, April 9, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Pre-order the album "Kaleidoscope Stars" today and support educational project http://www.rockethub.com/projects/39338-support-inspirational-music-new-album-kaleidoscope-stars-research
We are Roberta De Francia & Band from London, UK. We are an original acoustic band combining melodic vocals, inspirational lyrics, joyful & intricate harmonies and rhythm. We have performed at many festivals and venues around the UK and Europe, attracting wonderful reviews from various media and airplay on International radios.
We are going back to the studio to record our brand new album called "Kaleidoscope Stars" and we would like to get your help! We're recording these new tracks without any financial support so we are calling our fans, families and friends to give us a little (or big) donation in order to finish the recording and keep working on music.
Your contribution will go toward studio costs, recording, rehearsals, production, manufacture, market, merchandising and distribution.
This is about making YOU part of it and placing our music, ideas and career in your hands!
For this album we are looking to make a more significant impact than before and that means creating something of technically higher quality than we have produced before, while maintaining our high standards with our inspiring lyrics, sound and harmonious rhythms. We therefore will need a higher standard of recording studio, mix, higher quality videos, and the funds necessary to keep us creating and researching for the next few months.
We are all musicians, teachers, sound therapists and educators.
We try to inspire our students and this means discovering the potential in everyone, to make a little difference in their everyday lives. Everybody can use music to make life better physically, emotionally and socially . We would like to offer tools for everyone interested in finding a relaxing, balanced and more harmonious life through Music. Music can restore your energy and release stress.
The energy of sound can be used for Healing and Self Transformation! Everybody can do this!
5% of our budget will go to the charity Sound4healing
Roberta and the band would like to donate 5% of the budget to the charity, Sound4Healing (Registered Charity No. 1155386) The charity launched in August 2013 with the help of fund raising initiatives and the College of sound healing, a non-profitmaking organization who offer certificated training programmes for people interested in becoming sound healers and which aim to encourage scientific research into sound therapy. They are a very Pro-activecharity, offering workshops, conferences and a variety of creative events throughout the year. We suggest you take a look at their website! www.sound4healing.co.uk
We'll need money to pay for studio time, recording, mixing and mastering. We'll also need funds for merchandise and marketing materials. While $6.600 (4.495 euro, £3968) may seem like a lot to those who aren't familiar with music budgets, it's actually very little. Just consider the expenses for the studio, video makers, tour manager, printing & design, promotion and transport.
By supporting us, you are becoming a community producer. The budget will help us to create inspiring new songs and to continue or research in education, sound healing and voice/music therapy.
Buying an experience or a package is your way to directly contribute to the creation of this record. The record will be released on the Independent label, BlueBeetle Records:
Rockethub is a beautiful reflection of the collective spirit of this project. Help us make this happen!

We are reaching the end of the beginning with WebRTC, and real systems using this technology have begun to appear. One challenge that faces every WebRTC deployment (in some form or another) is identity management. For example, if you have an existing service – possibly built on a variety of different PaaS/SaaS offerings – and you want to add real-time communications you are faced with a challenge relating to user management, authentication, authorization, and validation. Service providers will w...

Scott Jenson leads a project called The Physical Web within the Chrome team at Google. Project members are working to take the scalability and openness of the web and use it to talk to the exponentially exploding range of smart devices. Nearly every company today working on the IoT comes up with the same basic solution: use my server and you'll be fine. But if we really believe there will be trillions of these devices, that just can't scale. We need a system that is open a scalable and by using ...

In addition, as more internet-enabled ‘Things' get connected, people will rely on DNS to name and find their fridges, toasters and toilets. Acco...

The term culture has had a polarizing effect among DevOps supporters. Some propose that culture change is critical for success with DevOps, but are remiss to define culture. Some talk about a DevOps culture but then reference activities that could lead to culture change and there are those that talk about culture change as a set of behaviors that need to be adopted by those in IT. There is no question that businesses successful in adopting a DevOps mindset have seen departmental culture change, ...
