Phoenix Dealership Rescues GM Recall Owners

Chapman Chevrolet announces Recall Rescue Program

PHOENIX, April 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to help vehicle owners affected by the General Motors recall, Chapman Chevrolet has developed the Recall Rescue Program. This program is designed to aid Phoenix Chapman Chevrolet and GM customers by providing loaner cars while their vehicles are being repaired.

"We want to make sure people are safe and taken care of while their vehicle is repaired," explains Chapman Chevrolet General Sales Manager George Salman. "By offering this no-worry, no-hassle service, customers can park their recalled vehicle until it is repaired without any inconvenience to them."

To participate in the Chapman Recall Rescue Program, recalled vehicle owners should:

Park – Bring your recalled vehicle to Chapman Chevrolet and park it. Owner safety is Chapman's top priority.

Borrow – Chapman Chevrolet will provide a complimentary loaner car for the duration of the recall service. Owners who participate in the Recall Rescue Program will have their vehicle moved to the top of the parts ordering list and receive priority repair scheduling.

Trade – The resale value of recalled vehicles has not been affected. GM is offering $500 towards the purchase of a new Chevrolet on top of current incentives. Chapman will match GM's $500 for $1,000 total trade-in assistance.

Sign up – simply fill out the online form here and a Chapman Recall Rescue representative will contact you. Or, call 1.866.412.2712 and we'll give you the details and set up a time to drop off your vehicle.

Chapman Chevrolet Recall Rescue representatives also will attend the Valley Chevy Dealer Tent Event April 24-27 at University of Phoenix Stadium. They will be on hand to answer recall questions from Noon-10pm Thursday, 10am-10pm Friday-Saturday, and from 10am-6pm on Sunday, Salman said. Chapman customers who attend the tent event will have the chance to see the 5-star safety-rated 2014 Chevy Malibu, as well as the redesigned 2014 Silverado pickup truck.

Salman said Chapman Chevrolet also will host an advanced screening of Transformers 4 ahead of the June 27, 2014 release date. At the screening, attendees will see the 2014 Camaro Transformers Concept car, enter to win a Transformers vehicle performance package valued at $1,500, movie memorabilia and more.
