Jahlil Okafor, a Duke signee and 6-11 senior center of Whitney Young (Chicago), returns to the ALL-USA team as the national player of the year. Averaging 27.6 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game, Okafor led his team to the 4A state title this season.

Sharman White of Miller Grove (Lithonia, Ga.), who coached his team to a state-record sixth consecutive title, is national Coach of the Year. The full ALL-USA teams (first, second and third teams) appear in today's print edition of USA TODAY and are also available online at usatodayhss.com. The ALL-USA Team and its year-end player and coach awards have been given out annually since 1983 and are considered the highest such honors in high school basketball. Past player of the year honorees include several NBA stalwarts, including Kevin Garnett (Farragut Academy of Chicago in 1995), Kobe Bryant (Lower Merion, Pa. in 1996) and LeBron James (twice, in 2002 and 2003, at St. Vincent-St. Mary of Akron, Ohio).

Joining Okafor on the ALL-USA first team is 6-9 senior power forward Cliff Alexander of Curie Metropolitan High School (Chicago). Alexander, a Kansas signee, who averaged 25 points and 16 rebounds a game, led his team to a 26-1 record and a city title this season.

Kelly Oubre, 6-7 senior forward of Findlay Prep (Henderson, NV), is another addition to the ALL-USA first team. Oubre, who is also Kansas-bound, led his team to a 31-5 record, averaging 22.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 2.5 assists per game.

Emmanuel Mudiay, from Prime Prep in Dallas, also made the ALL-USA first team. Mudiay, a Southern Methodist signee, led his team to a 30-6 record and a Texas Christian Athletic League prep division state title, averaging 16 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists a game.

Stanley Johnson, an Arizona-bound, 6-6 senior forward from Santa Ana, Calif., joins the ALL-USA first team as well, averaging 25.1 points and 8.1 rebounds a game. Johnson, who helped Mater Dei High School go 35-0 this season, also led his team to win four state titles.
