Texas Law Firm HMG's Clients Want Recalled GM Cars Off The Road

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas, April 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Bob Hilliard, lead lawyer and partner at Texas law firm Hilliard Munoz Gonzales LLP, says his clients urge General Motors to issue a "Park It Now" alert immediately.

Bob Hilliard, lead attorney in the class-action lawsuit against General Motors.

Hilliard represents the siblings and parents of 29 victims of GM car crashes caused by faulty ignition switches.

Hilliard says:
"The death count continues to grow. Save tomorrow's victim now. There have been 29 deaths and counting from GM's defective machines. There are over 130 serious injuries and catastrophic injuries suffered by innocent victims. We need to issue a "Park It Now" mandate. It is more than necessary and our clients want these cars off the road."

GM PUTS PROFITS ABOVE SAVING LIVES
Hilliard filed a response to a sur-reply issued earlier this week by General Motor's legal team that a Federal Judge deny an emergency motion requiring General Motors to issue an immediate "Park It Now" alert to owners of GM vehicles with defective ignition switches.

Hilliard's brief states:

"…GM still has not successfully answered the most important questions: Why shouldn't the Court issue a mandatory injunction requiring GM to tell customers to 'Park It Now' when the lives of millions, including the Plaintiffs are at risk?..."

"…Why does GM continue to elevate profits over people? Why is GM continuing to lie to the Plaintiffs, the American public, and this Court? Why doesn't GM learn from yesterday, correct its errors today, and allow millions the hope of tomorrow?..."

EMERGENCY "PARK IT NOW" ALERT
Hilliard is leading the call for General Motors to issue an emergency "Park It Now" alert to drivers of GM vehicles with defective ignition switches, and noted that yesterday the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) fined GM for failure to produce all documents related to the recall of these vehicles. These are the same documents GM is attempting to withhold from Hilliard as he pursues the "Park It Now" mandatory injunction in federal court.
