USA Mobility, Inc. (Nasdaq: USMO), a leading provider of wireless messaging, mobile voice, data and unified communications software solutions, today announced the appointment of Donna Scott as Senior Vice President of Marketing, effective today.
Scott joins USA Mobility from McKesson Health Solutions, a division of McKesson Technology Solutions, where she was responsible for overall marketing strategy and execution, including product launches, brand awareness, sales education and lead generation campaigns for McKesson’s RelayHealth.

Prior to McKesson, Scott was Executive Director, Marketing, at AT&T, Inc., responsible for sales and marketing programs to Healthcare, Government, and Education segments nationwide. Previously, she held senior marketing positions at AT&T’s BellSouth unit prior to BellSouth’s merger with AT&T in 2006, including oversight of website and online capabilities, internet product management, and cross-functional marketing planning and strategy. In addition, she also had product management responsibilities for several business units at BellSouth, including those providing wireless services, managed data, and e-business hosting and applications.

Scott holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of North Carolina. She also received a certificate in Healthcare Leadership from the Harvard School of Public Health. In addition, she is a former Chair of the Patient Engagement Action Group for the Institute for Health Technology Transformation (iHT2), where she authored several patient and physician papers, including “The Top Ten Things You Need to Know about Engaging Patients.”
Scott will report to Colin Balmforth, president of USA Mobility’s operating company, and will be based at the Company’s offices in Eden Prairie, MN.
