Tangoe Adds New Modules to Matrix Solution Suite

Tangoe, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNGO), a leading global provider of Connection Lifecycle Management (CLM) software and related services, today announced new software modules to the Matrix Solution Suite. Matrix is an integrated solution suite comprised of software and services to address the entire lifecycle of an enterprise’s mobile, fixed, machine, cloud, IT and social communications. The new MxSoftware modules provide insight into data across many applications, while providing accurate, intelligent reporting and analytics, complete with flexible configurations to support the business processes of the agile enterprise. Each module is compatible with Tangoe’s market-leading mobile and fixed solutions, and designed to be forward compatible with planned future solutions, supporting additional connections including social, cloud, IT and machine.

“With the rapidly growing connection points entering the enterprise, organizations should be focused on powering their workplace productivity and innovation by responsibly managing these connections. Organizations can simplify on-boarding in accordance with corporate policy, secure assets, reduce risk and effectively manage expenses, allowing end-users to be always on,” said Ken Lienemann, senior vice president, Tangoe. “Our Matrix Solution Suite and its new software modules empower enterprises to realize the true benefits of a connected and quantifiable enterprise.”

Enterprises today require an increasing variety of analytical capabilities and insight to support a wide range of business decisions across multiple areas of the organization such as marketing, sales, customer services, supply chain, procurement, HR, finance and product development. As a result, employees and business leaders need advanced dashboards that deliver insightful information and recommendations that enable them to make effective business decisions. These insights span from real-time roaming alerts when traveling internationally to insight tracking and comparative data between business units to help organizations be more efficient and productive.

Matrix and its MxSoftware were designed for connection insights at enterprise scale based on integrated data services to lower lifecycle connection management costs while realizing strategic potential. The new modules that are packaged to address an enterprise’s business challenges include:

MxBenchmark – Offers clients the ability to compare their performance to relevant peers and determine the quality of their performance. This module offers a broad spectrum of benchmarks to gauge performance throughout the connection lifecycle. While the market data available through this module includes rates for various services, it goes beyond typical benchmarking figures to include committed spend ratios, consumption metrics, operational metrics and many others. This module offers a comparable analysis to identify where opportunities or challenges exist today and in turn improve them through tactical initiatives.

MxForecast – The emergence of mobile within the enterprise has had a major impact on enterprise collaboration and many organizations will spend more than they need on voice and data costs. As a result, enterprises need to optimize their usage and consumption while aligning with budgets. Enterprises can leverage MxForecast to provide planning, budgeting and forecasting analysis to transform their entire planning lifecycles, from target setting and budget rollout all the way to reporting, analysis and reforecasting. Moreover, clients can rapidly analyze data, model business requirements and collaborate on plans, budgets and forecasts to uncover hidden business options and optimize performance.

MxInsight – Data is critical to effective decision making, optimizing processes and realizing strategic potential. MxInsight is a powerful data warehouse and analytics engine that captures both Matrix and non-Matrix information throughout the connection lifecycle including assets, expenses and usage. Through MxInsight, users have the ability both to command an understanding of the basics, such as how much is spent on connections, how many devices were purchased last month and which apps are installed on their devices, as well as eventually develop strategic insight into how their organization is behaving and realize productivity potential by understanding the pace at which information flows through the workplace and the resulting impact on metrics such as client satisfaction and revenue expansion.

These modules enable enterprises to select the right solution to address new and future challenges, bridging disparate connections globally, to gain critical insight, control and management. All three modules are expected to be available within 90 days, and pre-ordering is available.
