The company's engineering team, advised by Dr. Thomas Lu, the senior research fellow at Jet Propulsion Lab of CIT, is exploring the application of its proprietary Lithium-Iron (LiFePO4) battery technologies for the eCig and Hydroponic industries. It's widely believed Lithium-Iron (LiFePO4) battery technologies could be one of ideal energy sources for these expanding industries. eCigarettes have become popular and have dramatically decreased the usage of standard cigarette, and subsequently reducing lung cancer. There is no tar or ash from eCig usage. Lithium-ion battery technology is also used in the process.

As in January 2014, World Mobile Holdings has successfully received the 1st payment for its contract which has been completed in Shanghai, China with the national wireless operator China Mobile.
