CFC Appoints New Senior Vice Presidents to Leadership Team

DULLES, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/18/14 -- The National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC) recently appointed five new members to its senior leadership team. Effective April 16, 2014, the new senior vice presidents stepped into their roles following two recent retirements and one additional departure from CFC's senior leadership team.

"These individuals have played integral roles in bringing exceptional service to CFC's member-owners for years," CFC CEO Sheldon C. Petersen said. "The expanded scope of their positions will build on those efforts, and their expertise is a strong addition to CFC's senior leadership team and strategic vision."

CFC's new senior vice presidents are: Brad Captain of the Corporate Relations Group; Graceann Clendenen of the Corporate Services Group; Steve Kettler of Strategic Business Development and Support; and Joel Allen and Robin Reed, who will both serve as senior vice presidents in the Member Services Group.

"Succession planning has been a focus of the CFC Board of Directors for many years," Petersen said. "These promotions are a reflection of the work that has been done to ensure CFC continues to be well-positioned to meet our members' current and future needs."
