CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - April 18, 2014) - Concert producing giant Cardenas Marketing Network together with New York based promotion Wakamba Entertainment has announced the production of an unprecedented concert celebrating Colombian Independence Day.
For the first time in the tri-state area the Prudential Center will host "Soy Colombia" featuring the biggest stars of Colombian music.
International Vallenato superstar Silvestre Dangond with his intoxicating rhythms will face off with legendary vallenato icon Jorge Celedon. Both Dangond and Celedon are considered the pre-eminent figures of contemporary Colombian music having also expanded beyond the South American country throughout the entire North and South American Continent.
For the delight of the ever growing and influential Latin community the producers of the show have also announced the participation of two of Colombia's most beloved salsa bands: Salsa superstars Grupo Niche and their equally legendary counterparts Orquesta Guayacan.
