Explains Susan Cole Hill, president of the Angel City Chapter, "Our Achiever Program is a five-month endeavor that works to ensure our community is stronger each year by supporting our young African American male students who are graduating from high school. We give them the tools to achieve in college so they can become credible, impactful citizens of the world. We work through The Achiever Program, a Legacy award-winning program under the Services to Youth Links facet, and in partnership with motivational coach, Tony Magee and confreres who are successful men in our community and sponsors and donors. In partnership with Achievement Trust, the Angel City Links have surpassed the $2.5 million mark in awards and scholarships with offerings to more than 1100 young men over the years. The culmination of the Achiever Program is the "Affair of Honor."
