LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/29/06 -- Swinerton Builders, a leading general contractor in Southern California and throughout the western U.S., has announced a list of new construction projects in Los Angeles and Santa Clarita.

Fox Studios entertainment group in Los Angeles selected Swinerton for pre-construction and construction services on the new 104 Building. The 36,000-square-foot building will house dressing rooms, production offices, AVID edit bays and fully built-out office spaces. This will be Swinerton's fourth project with Fox Studios including the current Fox 310 building. Additional team members include architects Gensler and Associates, and Alpha Tech-Cambridge will be the construction managers for the project. The job is expected to start in December of 2006.

The Children's Bureau of Southern California* has selected Swinerton as general contractor for the construction of their new headquarters at 1380 West Washington Blvd., in Los Angeles. The new 46,000-square-foot center will offer an array of child and family programs and services as well as house a community conference center, administrative offices, and leasing space for partner organizations.
