Up Three Spots from Last Year's Ranking

ROSELAND, N.J., April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ADP®, a leading global provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, today announced that it has been ranked #24 on The 2014 DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list.  This comes after ranking #27 on the 2013 list.  The DiversityInc Top 50 includes companies from a wide range of industries whose leadership, procurement practices, communications and training best reflect the reality of the rapidly changing face of America.

This marks the fifth consecutive year that ADP has been recognized for excellence and leadership in diversity by DiversityInc.  In addition to its overall Top 50 ranking this year, ADP also made the DiversityInc Top 10 Companies for Veterans.  The full list can be found at http://www.diversityinc.com/the-diversityinc-top-50-companies-for-diversity-2014/.

"As a company whose core business is human capital management, ADP is keenly aware that sustained business performance is only possible when we fully leverage the talent and unique attributes of all associates," said Rita Mitjans, Chief Diversity & Corporate Social Responsibility officer at ADP.  "Our commitment to creating an inclusive culture unlocks value for our company, our associates and our clients."

To qualify for DiversityInc's Top 50 Companies for Diversity, participating companies must have more than 1,000 employees and must fill out a detailed questionnaire based completely on empirical questions about CEO commitment, human capital, internal and external communications, and supplier diversity. The list, now in its 14th year, is editorially driven and completely based on metrics.  A total of 1,215 companies filled out the survey this year.

"In its fifth year in the list, ADP shows improvement in talent development and supplier diversity," said DiversityInc CEO Luke Visconti.  "President and CEO Carlos Rodriguez and Chief Diversity & Social Responsibility Officer Rita Mitjans have emphasized employee resource groups and mentoring this year."
