The focus of the event was EFactor's ongoing series of "Pitch It in Person" events which the Company regularly hosts worldwide, granting the best pitch $2,500 in startup cash ceremoniously gifted by one of the event sponsors.  "Pitch It in Person" events were initiated by EFactor Group Corp. in September, 2013. The first New York event titled "Your Product Roadmap" took place on Wednesday, September 25, 2013.  The second event was held in October of 2013 and was hosted by Kevin Harrington.  The next "Pitch It in Person" event is scheduled for May 24th in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. EFactor membership and additional registration on EFactor's event page (www.efactor.com/events) is required to access the live events and replays of past webinars.

The winner of the "Pitch It in Person" event last night was Vidar Brekke for his presentation and pitch of Meddle™, Inc.   Meddle™ offers a content marketing platform that helps organizations and individuals effectively showcase their expertise when they do not have the time or skills to blog.

"Being invited to pitch by such a beacon of entrepreneurship, EFactor, was an honor for Meddle," stated Vidar Brekke, CEO and Co-Founder of Meddle, Inc. "Our team has been working day and night to bring our vision to life and winning the top spot was a great morale boost. As a lean, cash-efficient startup, the cash prize will have a real impact on our operations as well as a signal to investors and clients to give us a look.  We thank EFactor again for the opportunity to meet with their distinguished panel and guests."  Brekke concluded.

EFactor Group's COO, Marion Freijsen, who also presided over the event added, "The management team and staff at EFactor Group and EFactor.com look forward to hosting each of these entrepreneur-focused, live events.  We believe such live events and the scores of others we host year round separate EFactor.com from simply an information portal for business services, education and training for entrepreneurs, to a community of energetic and driven business people intent on connecting, face-to-face with other entrepreneurs in their community and successful business owners who can help EFactor.com members achieve their goals.  The "Pitch It in Person" event series highlights the essence of EFactor as it encourages entrepreneurs to develop and hone the 'pitch' of their business idea and then, defend it live by answering pointed questions from a panel of judges while in front of their peers.  This is the exact work of any entrepreneur and we are proud to provide our members such experiences."
