Ingram Micro Selected to Provide Mobility Distribution and Supply Chain Solutions to Key Verizon Wireless Dealers

Long-Term Agreement with the 360 Group to Support More Than 1,750 Points of Sale

SANTA ANA, Calif., April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the world's largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in supply-chain and mobile device lifecycle services, today announced it has entered into a strategic sourcing and integrated supply chain services agreement with the 360 Group, a consortium of four of Verizon Wireless' largest national dealers including A Wireless, Diamond Wireless, Go Wireless and Moorehead Communications (dba as TCC). Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, Ingram Micro Mobility has been named the preferred handset distributor and services provider for these key Verizon Wireless retailers. As part of the agreement, Ingram Micro Mobility will integrate directly into more than 1,750 points of sale and will provide the 360 Group with a suite of industry-leading supply chain services, including supply chain management, strategic sourcing, device lifecycle management, logistics services, and reverse logistics and demand planning services. Services under the agreement are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2014.

"Ingram Micro Mobility has clearly distinguished itself as an industry leader in the management of every step of the wireless device lifecycle supply chain," said Scott Levinson, COO, A Wireless. "We look forward to utilizing their expertise to ensure we are providing our customers with the highest level of service to accompany the devices they want."

Diamond's President, Troy Crosland said the agreement with Ingram Micro "provides a level of supply chain transparency unparalleled in our industry that each member of the 360 Group will leverage to further improve overall supply chain efficiency."

Ingram Micro Mobility will be integrated directly into the point of sale system of each of the 360 Group members. This integration is expected to enable the company to be highly efficient and productive in its services and delivery processes, which will help drive optimal device availability and inventory management, while reducing inventory obsolescence.

"As we searched for a partner with a broad portfolio of vertically integrated services, Ingram Micro Mobility was the clear leader in terms of scale, stability, reputation and end-to-end capabilities," stated John Salisbury, COO of Go Wireless. "The right supply of the right mobile devices, when and where needed, is crucial to exceeding our customers' expectations, as well as our growth targets. We're confident Ingram Micro Mobility's expertise will effectively and efficiently lead to greater customer satisfaction."

"The addition of Ingram's industry-leading relationships and supply chain expertise ideally positions us to differentiate ourselves in the highly competitive wireless retail environment, enabling us to deliver a potent combination of revenue growth and superior customer service," said Scott Shanks, CMO of Moorehead Communications.

Ingram Micro president, North America Mobility Bashar Nejdawi commented, "This is an excellent partnership which will benefit both Ingram Micro Mobility and 360 Group as we bring our highly complementary competencies together. Supplying critical wireless device lifecycle management services to this important and highly influential group within the Verizon Wireless channel reaffirms our role as a leading provider of global mobility services and solutions.  We look forward to serving the 360 Group and contributing to their continued success as leading retailers within the Verizon Wireless channel."
