Improving the Efficiency of SOA-Based Applications
jhv1blz5 wrote: The article validated SOA as an IT architecture paradigm that can be leveraged in many ways. Taking data storage, scalability and application performance to a nifty level using SOA Application Grid infrastructure will no doubt enhance data and application performance on Oracle architecture platforms, it also has the promise of a cost effective and efficient IT delivery model. The very benefits of SOA.

Transnational Automotive Announces Purchase of 60 City Buses for its Urban Transportation Operation in Cameroon
New buses will extend TAUG's transportation capacity and help meet rapidly growing Cameroonian demand for LeBus service

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/30/06 -- Transnational Automotive Group, Inc. (OTCBB: TAMG) ("TAUG"), a global leader in transportation services and sustainable energy development, today announced the purchase of 60 new city buses to expand "LeBus", a TAUG subsidiary operating an urban bus company in Cameroon.

LeBus formally launched its operations in the capital city of Yaounde in Cameroon on September 25, 2006, with 17 new city buses representing a significant milestone for the company and the people of Cameroon. During LeBus's first two months of operation, TAUG engineers have carefully evaluated the performance of its buses in the harsh Cameroon climate.

During a November 2006 visit to China, a number of TAUG officers and staff - CEO Dr. Ralph Thomson, President of China Operations Dr. Louis Shu and key engineers - met with several bus manufacturers. TAUG selected King Long United Automotive Industry (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. to be the supplier of its city buses. The order of 60 buses with King Long is valued at over $3,200,000 USD.

The first batch of 30 buses is estimated to arrive in the port of Douala, Cameroon sometime in February 2007. The second batch of 30 buses will arrive approximately one month later. The company chose the "Higer B Series" KLQ6116G (http://www.kinglong-sz.com.cn/en/product/canshub.asp), based on its strong performance in tropical and hilly conditions.

"King Long is a well-recognized manufacturer of high quality buses; we are very pleased to be working with such a professional group," said Thomson, CEO of TAUG. "The Higer B series city bus is specially designed to operate in the conditions we experience in Cameroon, but we have been equally impressed with King Long's commitment to after-sales support and its reliable supply of spare parts."

TAUG's 60-bus order represents approximately 50 percent of the capacity required to serve the city of Yaounde. It also represents another important milestone for TAUG, as the company quickly transitions from its pilot phase to a full-scale bus business. TAUG projects that it will import more than 1,000 buses to service the major population centers of Cameroon.

"These buses will help meet the acute need for reliable and affordable public transportation in Cameroon," said Don Durand, TAUG's President of Africa Operations. "The arrival of this shipment of buses will allow us to expand the city bus system to the other parts of Yaounde and significantly improve the services available to our riders. It will also help meet the demands we are facing with the increasing ridership on our first two lines in Yaounde."
