Gravitant Integrates with ServiceNow to Enable Customers to Accelerate and Optimize Their Acquisition of Cloud Solutions

Gravitant® today announced that it has integrated its cloudMatrix cloud brokerage and management applications with ServiceNow’s service request portal. This capability will be demonstrated at Knowledge 14.

With this integration, ServiceNow customers can:

  • Enable their IT organizations to become service brokers that can deliver services at the speed of cloud while still maintaining governance and control.
  • Extend their ServiceNow catalog to become a dynamic IT-as-a-Service Catalog.
  • Extend ticket-taking workflows with new cloud solutions, procurement and governance apps from Gravitant, which are critical to cloud consumption and governance.
  • Match their application and business needs to the best-fit cloud provider from a broad ecosystem.

Many customers are using ServiceNow’s portal for speeding up and better managing service requests. And in today’s fast world of cloud computing and anytime, anywhere access to data, customers welcome faster processes. But the process for designing cloud solutions remains slow and manual in IT organizations. Even if the “ticket” gets to the IT department quickly, the subsequent process of designing a cloud-based solution (for example, for a Big Data application), finding the best cloud providers, ensuring all ITSM services are included, and then deploying the solution is a lengthy process that reduces the agility of the organization.
