CALGARY, AB -- (Marketwired) -- 05/02/14 -- PLS Inc. announced today that its Spring 2014 Calgary DEALMAKERS Expo is taking place this Monday May 5 and deal flow is ample for this prospect expo. In fact PLS already has over 40 sellers bringing oil and gas prospects and projects to be on display. This power-packed, one-day prospect and property expo starts with breakfast at 9:00 am at the TELUS Convention Centre at 120 9th Avenue SE.
The oil and gas expo is presented by the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen (CAPL), Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG), Explorers & Producers Association of Canada (EPAC) and Calgary Global Exploration Forum (CGEF). PLS expects over 60 booths filled with deal prospects and over 400 oil and gas industry professionals in attendance.
As with all DEALMAKERS Expos, prospect and property offerings will be shown from a number of energy basins. Sample Alberta deals include a 13-well prospect in the Alberta foothills area targeting the Cardium and Viking, a 23,000-acre Central Alberta Mannville farmout opportunity, and a 10,000-acre farmout targeting the Cardium and Turner Valley in Southern Alberta.
Saskatchewan offerings on exhibit include a > 23,000-acre prospect in the Long Lake area with potential for 50-100 wells, and a heavy oil pool project in the Segram Lakes area offering a half-to-whole operated working interest in the deal.
British Columbia offerings include a non-operated development opportunity for 40+ total wells with existing gas production in the Helmet/Helmet North area, and also a 52,000-net acre farmout in the Two Rivers area with a Montney objective.
The show has an international flavor with deals in the US and overseas. Sample deals for sale in the USA market include a 55,000+ acre oil prospect located in Chouteau County, Montana, a Reno County, Kansas project targeting the horizontal Mississippian w/ existing production that is cash flowing ~$320,000 per month, and additionally Permian Basin/Eastern Shelf properties and prospects. Deals from abroad include drilling opportunities in Brazil of varying sizes, and also several UK North Sea prospects (30 MMBOE+) that are available for purchase or farmout.
