Apprio Appoints Paul Egermeier as New COO

WASHINGTON, DC -- (Marketwired) -- 05/05/14 -- Apprio, a leading provider of specialized technology solutions, particularly for the health, defense and homeland security markets, today announced it has appointed Paul Egermeier as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In his new role as COO, Egermeier is responsible for Apprio's quality services, business development, customer service, general management and operations. Prior to joining Apprio, Egermeier served as the CEO of TISTA Science and Technology Corporation, where he increased sales by more than 400 percent and upgraded accounting, payroll and human resource systems. Egermeier has also had executive positions with several other federal contractors, always focused on increasing customer satisfaction.

"Paul is joining Apprio at the right time," said Darryl F. Britt, Apprio's president and founder. "Apprio has just gone through a decade of significant growth, and now we've reached a size where managing the organization and extended that growth becomes much more complicated. Paul has accomplished exactly that for many companies during his career. In the short time he's been with Apprio, I've already seen the effects of his strategic planning and hands-on management style, and I look forward to watching how he helps shape Apprio's direction moving forward."

With an MBA from Pepperdine University, Egermeier has more than 20 years of experience improving performance, enhancing customer relationships and decreasing costs in a diverse range of organizations.

"This is an exciting time to be a part of Apprio," said Egermeier. "The company has been focused on exactly the right thing in order to grow -- namely customer service -- and with a strong foundation to build on, we can build on it to become the truly outstanding company Apprio is meant to be. I am pleased to be a part of such an innovative company and look forward to what the future holds for us."
