Globecomm, a leading global provider of communications solutions and services, today announced that the Company has received a service contract extension from a multinational media and information firm based in New York City. Under the terms of the contract extension, Globecomm will provide an on-site presence at the company’s teleport to perform operational checks and maintenance as well provide 24 x 7 monitoring of its earth stations. Globecomm will also provide test equipment calibration services and equipment repair as necessary.
Globecomm’s engineers have designed and implemented much of the company’s satellite communications network and Globecomm has worked closely with the company for the past twelve years providing onsite maintenance services, emergency services and 24 x 7 monitoring of company’s teleport.
