HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 05/06/14 -- Milton Roy, the world's largest manufacturer of controlled volume pumps, and a brand of Accudyne Industries, is launching the industry's most powerful API 675 pump yet, Primeroyal X, during this year's Offshore Technology Conference.
The addition of the Primeroyal X pump to the company's extensive pump range brings extended capabilities and economic savings to oil and gas operations. The new pump is designed specifically for the deepest subsea wells and gives operators greater power and more accurate control to improve flow and deliver consistent product quality.
"The addition of Primeroyal X not only further enhances the Primeroyal series of pumps Milton Roy offers, but also strengthens the overall range of metering pumps we provide," said Axel Bokiba, Global Product Line Manager. "Primeroyal X is a pump for operators who are working in the most challenging environments and need to pack some extra muscle."
Efficient in chemical and energy usage, the pump increases reliability within a smaller deck footprint and has exceeded API 675 compliance. In addition to its superior power rating, Primeroyal X comes with the accuracy of control necessary to chemically dose wells consistently while adapting to the changing conditions of the well's lifecycle.
The search for energy is sending companies farther offshore and down to greater depths. Because these deepwater projects often present previously unseen challenges and create increasing stress on the equipment used for production, operators need solid products that boost safety and productivity.
"Milton Roy strives to deliver the market's most comprehensive range of pumps," said Joel Higbee, Director of Product Development. "We know each of our customers work in unique environments and we pride ourselves on developing market-leading technology that anticipates and responds to the challenges they may face."
Milton Roy's Primeroyal series of process pumps combines design excellence, modular installation and flexible application to deliver truly exceptional safety, reliability and performance.
Since 1936, Milton Roy has combined vast industry experience, a proven track record and a culture of continuous technological improvement to provide customized solutions for all pump applications.
Milton Roy is a brand of Accudyne Industries. Accudyne is a new company that has been created to leverage the synergies between Milton Roy, Sundyne, and Sullair. The Primeroyal X pump represents the first new product that Milton Roy has developed as part of the Accudyne family.
"Accudyne brings significant resources to Milton Roy that have made us stronger than ever and have enabled us to deliver new technology to meet the needs of today's oilfield," said Chris Krieps, Milton Roy President. "Primeroyal X continues our legacy of delivering pumps that are engineered to exceed expectations and are backed by a global network of highly trained field engineers and aftersales support that is second-to-none."
Milton Roy has expanded its initial product offering of metering pumps to include fluid control and odorization equipment in a wide range of industries including water treatment, wastewater and oil and gas.
