TABB Group today issued two quarterly research reports detailing trading and market activity in the US listed derivatives markets, the first in a new series of quarterly data analysis reports detailing activity in US options and US futures markets.
The new series is being announced at the research and consulting firm’s second annual derivatives conference, Derivatives 2014: A Market in Transition at the W Chicago Center in downtown Chicago, where the keynote speaker is CFTC Commissioner Scott O’Malia.
The six-page, 22-exhibit US Options Market Review includes data and analysis on options trading volume; exchange market share; most actively-traded symbols; trading by underlying instrument; trading by type of account; weekly expiration volumes; and market quality statistics. Compiled and written by TABB principal and head of derivatives Andy Nybo, the data in the report include both public and proprietary TABB Group statistics.
The US Futures Market Review is written by Matt Simon, a TABB principal and recently named head of futures research, Six pages long with 16 exhibits, its content provides data and analysis on a number of segments, including trading volume and open interest in futures; options on futures; volatility futures; and swap futures. The new report also provides data and analysis on the changing Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) industry, including customer assets on deposit and FCM market share rankings.
