Moontoast acquires Spendship, a mobile-first affiliate and loyalty platform, to extend customer engagement for brands

Moontoast, the leader in Social Rich Media, acquires Spendship, a revolutionary mobile-driven affiliate and loyalty platform, to further enhance its product offering, helping brands drive business results and engage with customers. Jason Weaver, former Founder and CEO of Shoutlet, launched Spendship to help companies turn passionate customers and social media fans into a sales force for their products and services. He will be joining Moontoast as Chief Product Officer, overseeing all aspects of product innovation. While at Shoutlet, Jason was the company’s primary product development visionary. In 2013, Shoutlet was recognized as the leader in product functionality according to Forrester Research’s Social Media Management Platform Wave Report.

Jason’s new company, Spendship, was launched in December 2013 to help companies connect social media fans with direct revenue using a powerful new loyalty and affiliate marketing platform.
