Eyeview and Doner Media Create Unique National Advertising Campaign for PGA TOUR

Doner Media Leverages Eyeview's Personalized Video Platform for First-of-Its-Kind Digital Campaign Featuring Live Leaderboard Results

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 05/09/14 -- Eyeview, the leading provider of personalized online video advertising solutions for brand marketers, and full-service, performance driven agency Doner Media, today announced a first-of-its-kind digital campaign for the PGA TOUR. Leveraging Eyeview's proprietary personalized platform, pre-roll video ads will integrate a live leaderboard feed using the PGA TOUR's ShotLink technology, which records every shot by every player in real-time.

The national campaign, aimed at golf and sports enthusiasts across the United States, is intended to raise awareness for PGA TOUR tournaments and drive tune-in and digital traffic for that week's event.

"Part of the PGA TOUR Brand Marketing team's mission is to find innovative and compelling ways to promote the TOUR, our players and our tournaments," said Brian Woyt, Senior Director, Brand Marketing, PGA TOUR. "Leveraging our ShotLink real-time scoring data and Eyeview's technology is a perfect example."

Over the course of the next six months, the online video ads will feature live scoring for select PGA TOUR events, showcasing a top-five leaderboard similar to what TV viewers see coming in and out of commercial breaks. Tournaments include this week's THE PLAYERS Championship, World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational and the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola, among others.

"It was great partnering with Eyeview to deliver this innovative, never-done-before live video execution for the PGA TOUR," said Bob Tacy, SVP Director Digital Media at Doner. "This strategic marketing approach showcases the PGA TOUR's commitment to creating new ways for fans to discover live sporting events. It will help to further elevate their brand as a leader in innovation, while driving business results."

"The live leaderboard is a really powerful way of delivering value to sports fans, building excitement and driving viewers to tune in to tournament coverage," said Oren Harnevo, CEO & Founder, Eyeview. "For a company or organization with a broad reach like the PGA TOUR, our solution provides the perfect way to target an audience at scale, but with dynamic, real-time information."

Due of the rise of Hadoop, many enterprises are now deploying their first small clusters of 10 to 20 servers. At this small scale, the complexity of operating the cluster looks and feels like general data center servers. It is not until the clusters scale, as they inevitably do, when the pain caused by the exponential complexity becomes apparent. We've seen this problem occur time and time again. Once the decision has been made to move part or all of a workload to the cloud, a methodology for selecting that workload needs to be established. How do you move to the cloud? What does the discovery, assessment and planning look like? What workloads make sense? Which cloud model makes sense for each workload? What are the considerations for how to select the right cloud model? And how does that fit in with the overall IT transformation?
The recent trends like cloud computing, social, mobile and Internet of Things are forcing enterprises to modernize in order to compete in the competitive globalized markets. Should they be cautious though? Absolutely. The truth is that DevOps and the enterprise are at best strange bedfellows. The movement has its roots in t...

Over the years, a variety of methodologies have emerged in order to overcome the challenges related to project constraints. The successful use of each methodology seems highly context-dependent. However, communication seems to be the common denominator of the many challenges that project management methodologies intend to resolve.
