Trey Songz Gives Fans Access to His "SmartPhone" With Innovative New Mobile Web App; Eagerly Anticipated New Album, "TRIGGA," Arrives on July 1st; Details Revealed Saturday via Twitter and Mashable; Mobile Web App Celebrates R&B Superstar's Latest Hit, "S

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 05/12/14 -- Atlantic recording artist Trey Songz is celebrating his sultry new single, "SmartPhones," with a one-of-a-kind mobile web app. The GRAMMY® Award-nominated superstar unveiled the mobile app earlier today in a tweet to his 7.35 million Twitter followers (@TreySongz), with additional details then released exclusively through Mashable (http://on.mash.to/1jy2eSl). "SmartPhones" heralds Trey's hugely anticipated new album, "TRIGGA," which arrives everywhere on July 1st.

The "SmartPhones" mobile web app experience allows users to "break into" Trey's very own smart phone, where they can access a broad range of "apps." Fans can check out such exclusive extras as personal photos, texts, and cell phone videos, save their info to Trey's contact list, and best of all, the world premiere of the new "SmartPhones" companion video. At the time of the launch, the clip was only viewable after unlocking the mobile app with the "TRIGGA" release date -- 7114. The video can now viewed via YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sExF5B4G-U). As if that weren't enough, the "SmartPhones" mobile web app includes Shazam and Beats Music, links to Trey's official web store (store.treysongz.com), Google Play, and the iTunes Store, as well as updates from Trey's official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds and access to his innovative fan club app, The Angel Network (TAN). The mobile web app was built by Come Together Create and FortyAU.

"SmartPhones" is shaping up as another slow jam smash for Songz, with Complex hailing it as "a wonderful track that delivers just enough innocence behind (Trey's) words as he sings about the difficulties of dealing with a relationship over a (smart phone)." The track recently impacted at multi-format Urban radio outlets nationwide, while official audio can be heard now at Trey's official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/TreySongzVideos.

"Na Na," the first single from "TRIGGA," has already proven a popular favorite, reaching the top 10 at multi-format Urban radio with sales rapidly approaching RIAA gold certification. Meanwhile, the track's companion video -- directed by Gil Green & Trey Songz and co-starring WWE's Brie & Nikki Bella -- continues to rock YouTube with close to 18 million views at www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0Gu_Yh_keE.

Long regarded as a brilliant live performer, Trey will star at a number of upcoming summer festivals, highlighted by a Stadium Stage set at the 2014 Hot 97 Summer Jam, scheduled for June 1st at East Rutherford, New Jersey's MetLife Stadium. With "TRIGGA," Trey Songz crafted his most intimate album yet, an honest and courageous set that more than confirms his status as the undisputed master of modern R&B, pop, and soul. Trey's sixth studio collection, "TRIGGA" follows 2012's blockbuster "CHAPTER V," which burst into the top of the Billboard 200 upon its initial release, fueled by such hit singles as "Heart Attack" and "Simply Amazing."

With several hundred implementations of IoT-enabled solutions in the past 12 months alone, this session will focus on experience over the art of the possible. Many can only imagine the most advanced telematics platform ever deployed, supporting millions of customers, producing tens of thousands events or GBs per trip, and hundreds of TBs per month. With the ability to support a billion sensor events per second, over 30PB of warm data for analytics, and hundreds of PBs for an data analytics arc...
When it comes to the Internet of Things, hooking up will get you only so far. If you want customers to commit, you need to go beyond simply connecting products. You need to use the devices themselves to transform how you engage with every customer and how you manage the entire product lifecycle. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Sean Lorenz, Technical Product Manager for Xively at LogMeIn, will show how “product relationship management” can help you leverage your connected devices and the data th...

In the consumer IoT, everything is new, and the IT world of bits and bytes holds sway. But industrial and commercial realms encompass operational technology (OT) that has been around for 25 or 50 years. This grittier, pre-IP, more hands-on world has much to gain from Industrial IoT (IIoT) applications and principles. But adding sensors and wireless connectivity won’t work in environments that demand unwavering reliability and performance. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Ron Sege, CEO of Echelon...
Docker has acquired software-defined networking (SDN) startup SocketPlane. SocketPlane, which was founded in Q4, 2014, with a vision of delivering Docker-native networking, has been an active participant in shaping the initial efforts around Docker’s open API for networking. The explicit focus of the SocketPlane team within Docker will be on collaborating with the partner community to complete a rich set of networking APIs that addresses the needs of application developers and network and system...
JFrog on Thursday announced that it has added Docker support to Bintray, its distribution-as-a-service (DaaS) platform. When combined with JFrog’s Artifactory binary repository management system, organizations can now manage Docker images with an end-to-end solution that supports all technologies. The Internet of Things (IoT) is causing data centers to become radically decentralized and atomized within a new paradigm known as “fog computing.” To support IoT applications, such as connected cars and smart grids, data centers' core functions will be decentralized out to the network's edges and endpoints (aka “fogs”). As this trend takes hold, Big Data analytics platforms will focus on high-volume log analysis (aka “logs”) and rely heavily on cognitive-computing algorithms (aka “cogs”) to mak...
Cryptography has become one of the most underappreciated, misunderstood components of technology. It’s too easy for salespeople to dismiss concerns with three letters that nobody wants to question. ‘Yes, of course, we use AES.’ But what exactly are you trusting to be the ultimate guardian of your data? Let’s face it – you probably don’t know. An organic, grass-fed Kobe steak is a far cry from a Big Mac, but they’re both beef, right? Not exactly. Crypto is the same way. The US government require...
The speed of product development has increased massively in the past 10 years. At the same time our formal secure development and SDL methodologies have fallen behind.
