BulletinHealthcare, which creates and delivers daily medical news briefings to more than 550,000 physicians in partnership with two dozen of the nation’s premier medical associations (e.g., AMA, ACC, ASCO), announced today that Neil Harris has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer to oversee the management of sales, marketing, advertising operations, and customer service.
The CRO is a new position for the company. Harris will lead a talented team of experienced advertising sales representatives with specialized pharmaceutical knowledge, marketing professionals, advertising operations specialists, and business analysts. Consistently ranked as a top member benefit, the briefings are optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms. On a daily basis, 60 percent of BulletinHealthcare’s readership accesses their briefings on mobile devices.
“We were looking for an extremely bright, entrepreneurial leader to step into a business with a strong foundation and take it to a new level,” said Michael Laxineta, President of BulletinHealthcare. “Neil brings us a unique blend of digital media as well as functional, operational, and analytical skills.”
Harris joins the company with more than 20 years of experience in digital product marketing and sales leadership in organizations that include Atari and GE. He led the business team that grew Simutronics from a startup to the Inc. 500. Harris earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
