HONOLULU, HI--(Marketwired - May 12, 2014) - Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot -- the international restaurant made famous by its unique fondue-style cuisine from Inner Mongolia -- is opening its first Hawaii location on Friday, May 16th at Honolulu's Ward Centers with a celebratory grand opening party starting at 6:30 p.m.

The new location at 1200 Ala Moana Blvd, Building 4, Ward Centre, 2ndFloor, above Bed Bath & Beyond, is conveniently situated within one of Honolulu's leading shopping centers, featuring over 100 shops and just minutes from the world-famous Waikiki Beach. In addition to the extensive menu of fresh meats, vegetables and Mongolian inspired dishes, Little Sheep Honolulu will offer draft beers, specialty cocktails and premium spirits.

Known for its family-style atmosphere and made-to-share menu items, Little Sheep offers the very essence of do-it-yourself dining. Little Sheep allows you to create a completely customizable experience with the freshest quality ingredients, starting with the restaurant's acclaimed flavorful, aromatic soup bases, which are made from scratch and feature up to 36 different herbs and spices. After selecting their preferred spice level, guests then place their choice of delicately sliced marbled meats, fresh veggies and homemade noodles into the pot of broth and cook to their liking. Favorites include the supreme lamb shoulder, grass-fed and imported from New Zealand, house shrimp balls, baby bok choy and fresh, handmade noodles.

"We believe that Little Sheep is a great fit for the Ward Center," said Michael Wu, CEO of Little Sheep International of the new location. "We are excited to open our first Hawaii location and look forward to serving locals and visitors alike."

A traditional Inner Mongolian dining style, hot pot is the centerpiece of the Little Sheep dining experience. China's rich history of hot pot can be traced back more than 1,000 years. Today, Little Sheep is proud to offer this traditional dining experience to customers all around the world.

The Honolulu opening closely follows the Edison, New Jersey location, Little Sheep's second East Coast location, which opened its doors on May 12th.
