Glue Networks to Demonstrate Architecture-Aware WAN Analytics, Visualization, Verification and Change Management for Software-Defined WAN

Today at Cisco Live, Cisco’s annual IT and communications conference, Glue Networks™ will demonstrate Gluware® with WAN analytics (Cisco ACI Booth #1133), the first architecture-aware intelligent orchestration engine to provide WAN analytics, visualization, verification, and change management that preserves the integrity of Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD WAN), while enabling application level programmability. Gluware with WAN analytics allows for detail and granular analytics of Cisco QoS on a per application basis, Cisco performance routing (PfR) and orchestration to reprogram and proactively change the network according to conditions, where other systems allow for visualization and monitoring only.

Reducing operating costs and delivering agility is critical to all WAN customers and the Gluware intelligent orchestration engine delivers a rich feature set to enterprise customers, while the Cisco WAN Automation Engine (WAE), announced yesterday, delivers advanced traffic visibility and network automation for service providers.

“Glue Networks enables enterprises to leverage their investments in WAN infrastructure and training, and delivers WAN analytics, intelligent orchestration and policy management,” said Jeff Gray, CEO and co-founder of Glue Networks. “Gluware will expand WAN analytics to provide autonomic responses and allow the engine to proactively and dynamically change QoS on a per application basis on the fly. The Gluware architecture was designed to address autonomic end-to-end application policy all the way from the data center to every end point on the WAN, including the ability to hand shake with the data center or service provider network.”

“IT business leaders are looking to bring innovation to their WAN architecture and garner the same simplicity, agility, CapEX and OpEx savings they are pursuing through Software-Defined Networking (SDN) for their data center,” said Nick Lippis, ONUG Chairman and co-founder. “At ONUG Spring 2014 Software-Defined Wide Area Networking was voted the #1 use case most likely to be included in an RFI/RFP in the next 12 months.”

The Gluware intelligent orchestration engine is highly scalable and automatically deploys, manages and monitors enterprise WAN infrastructure resulting in lower costs. The built-in architecture-aware expert system allows an enterprise to intelligently provision, monitor and optimize a network throughout its full lifecycle. Gluware provisions an enterprise WAN in minutes vs. weeks or months with manual solutions, and delivers agility, efficiency and cost savings to the WAN.

Pricing and Availability

Gluware is deployed in production networks around the world. Gluware with WAN analytics is generally available today. For pricing please contact Glue Networks, channels or refer to the Cisco General Price List.
