TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/28/14 -- Toronto foodies are about to get hooked on a new downtown seafood concept. The Chase Hospitality Group (CHG) is proud to announce the opening of Little Fin, Toronto's latest source for flavorful, healthy cuisine. Opening this summer in Toronto's financial district, the restaurant will be located right next door to The Chase Fish & Oyster, at 4 Temperance Street.
As another creative outlet for the Chase Hospitality Group, Little Fin will be a differentiator in the company's growing portfolio of full-scale restaurants. CHG, which owns and operates some of Toronto's most celebrated restaurants including The Chase, The Chase Fish and Oyster, and the highly anticipated Colette Grand Cafe this summer, have designed Little Fin in the vein of a modern yet simple seaside-style marketplace.
"Little Fin was a natural progression for us," stated Michael Steh, Executive Chef of Chase Hospitality Group. "In keeping with our values and core philosophies for what quick service should be, we created an eat-in, or on-the-go, restaurant where guests will feel rejuvenated after a meal."
With its fresh, high-quality food, Little Fin will provide widespread appeal for those looking to pick up some healthy takeout or a have a quick, eat-in meal. The menu will offer a selection of freshly prepared seafood dishes such as tiger shrimp, lobster, halibut, crab, tuna, scallops, and salmon. Guests will have their choice as to whether it is prepared as a sandwich, wrap, salad, or roll. Other unique dishes, such as summer sweet corn chowder, seasonal coleslaw, or an oyster po'boy, can be paired with house made ice cream floats and freshly-squeezed fruit juices. Save room for dessert...on the indulgent side, meals can be finished off with old favourites, such as a mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwich or a strawberry banana split.
A selection of epicurean specialty goods will line the fish store's shelves. Sustainably sourced fish filets and other marketplace foods will be offered as grocery items and priced by weight. An assortment of pre-made, cold seafood and salad orders will be available as eat-in and take away as well.
The interior of Little Fin will be refined and modern, but maintain certain rustic undertones indicative of a seaside-style marketplace. Marble subway tile, warm wood flooring, and white brick walls will frame the dining area, open kitchen, and counter space, giving the fish store and restaurant an understated sophistication. Seating will be available to those looking to dine-in, and a street-level patio will open throughout the warmer months.
Little Fin is set to launch this summer and will be located at 4 Temperance Street, between Yonge St and Bay St.
