Developing a strong authentication standard not only involves making technological choices but taking into account several other aspects. The Natural Security Alliance's first Members Meeting will explore the scope of strong authentication, essential for the definition of a standard for payments and access to services, wherever the authentication action takes place.
With regulation at the heart of biometrics and payment, Thiébaut Devergranne will provide an update on the EU’s position on data protection in Europe, linked to the use of biometrics and personal data processing.
Jean-Louis Revol from ID3 will provide feedback on a live deployment of consumer biometrics, and offer insights into the advantages and issues faced.
Evaluation and certification is a critical, necessary process for the payment industry. Alain Louis from Elitt and Ludovic Verecque from Paycert will provide a clear picture of the evaluation and certification processes and how they will contribute to building trust and policies on interoperability.
Helene Cosenza an experienced design specialist from Axance will talk about user experience, both in banking and other domains.
Emma Lindley, from Innovate Identity will provide insights into global identity trends, the question of identity as the new oil and where it stands today. The session will also provide an opportunity to learn about identity from the consumer's perspective and challenges generated by current identity models.
Joël Chevillard, CTO of the Natural Security Alliance will share his vision on mobile platforms, security, convenience and the different components of the Natural Security standard. Joel will present its roadmap, implementation, security, BLE and other elements. Pierre Antonio, head of the Marketing Advisory Committee for the Natural Security Alliance will discuss the use cases of Natural Security standard.
The Members Meeting will close with a presentation on authentication issues and specificities of the US market given by Frazier Evans from Booz Allen Hamilton, who will cover areas such as PIV, credentials and deployment.
