TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/30/14 -- John G. Simmonds, Chairman and CEO of A. C. Simmonds and Sons Inc. (BLVD Holdings Inc. (the "Company") (OTCQB:BLVO)), is pleased to announce the launch of KwikLinks Golf (TM) and the company's decision to bring 12-hole golf in a major way to golfers in Canada.
Twenty one years ago John Simmonds and his brothers David and Bruce founded ClubLink, the most successful consolidation of golf in Canadian history. Today it is still the largest golf course operation in Canada with thousands of members.
"We changed the way people played the game of golf with ClubLink," said John Simmonds. "With KwikLinks, A. C. Simmonds and Sons plans to change the game of golf again. The economics and the demographics of golf today make the idea of a 12-hole game the best and most exciting option given the current downturn in the industry. I think people want a shorter game and they want it for a better price. KwikLinks 12-hole Golf is designed for today's busy lifestyle and the general preference these days for a little more frugality in leisure pursuits. We will enable anyone to enjoy a quick round of golf for less money and with more time left over for other things."
12-hole golf is the way the game was originally played in Scotland 200 years ago.
Jack Nicklaus, U.S. Open and Masters Champion is also a fan of the concept and has made no secret of his endorsement of the shorter game. "We should consider the possibility of making 12 holes the standard round. Eventually it would be accepted because it makes sense in people's lives."
The Company has identified a number of golf courses in Southern Ontario, Canada that are ideal candidates to be reformatted for 12-hole play.

Fundamentally, SDN is still mostly about network plumbing. While plumbing may be useful to tinker with, what you can do with your plumbing is far more intriguing. A rigid interpretation of SDN confines it to Layers 2 and 3, and that's reasonable. But SDN opens opportunities for novel constructions in Layers 4 to 7 that solve real operational problems in data centers. "Data center," in fact, might become anachronistic - data is everywhere, constantly on the move, seemingly always overflowing. Net...
