The Oklahoma Funeral Board (OFB) recently launched a new redesigned website at http://www.ok.gov/funeral. The site serves as a central hub for information on the many services offered by the Board, and provides instant access to them 24/7.
“The Funeral Board really wants to leverage technology in a way to provide pertinent information to all funeral consumers and license holders,” said OFB Director, Chris Ferguson. “The new website will serve as a one-stop-shop portal for all funeral related information.”
Some of the services available on the new website include:
- License Verification Search
- Online License Renewal for Funeral Directors and Embalmers
- Answers to Common Questions for Consumers
- Rules, Statutes, and Board Meeting Minutes and Agendas
The new website was built using OK.gov’s Web Management Suite, allowing for easy and quick web development and maintenance, while utilizing a standard state agency web template. The Oklahoma Funeral Board website and services result from a partnership between the Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) and OK.gov.
