Five Hole for Food's Inaugural Corporate Charity Ball Hockey Tournament Aims to Raise a Record 40,000 Pounds of Food

WATERLOO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/06/14 -- Five Hole for Food (FHFF) has been playing hockey for food during its annual cross-country tour for the past four summers. The FHFF team is hosting its inaugural corporate charity ball hockey tournament in Waterloo before embarking on its landmark fifth summer tour.

Twenty-four corporate teams - firefighters, police, banks, accounting firms, etc. - are set to battle it out in the rink over a series of 12 games, all in support of the Food Bank of Waterloo Region. The event is free and spectators are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation. Volunteers from the Food Bank of Waterloo Region will be on site to collect donations.
