Zephyr Launches Pisa Under-Cabinet and Tornado Mini Power Pack Kitchen Ventilation Hoods

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - June 10, 2014) - Zephyr, the leader in ventilation hood design, innovation and technology, today announced the launch of the Pisa under-cabinet and Tornado Mini power pack kitchen ventilation hoods. Ideal for the builder or consumer looking for versatile and cost effective hoods, the Pisa and Tornado Mini combine minimalist design with quality performance.

The Pisa is a contemporary alternative to the standard and outdated, under-cabinet range hoods that lack design and performance. With a quick pull of the sleek glass visor, the user can automatically turn on the hood's 290 CFM motor and dual level halogen lights. Its slim, rectangular body tucks discreetly under the cabinetry; a perfect fit for modern or traditional kitchen styles. Available in 30-inches, the Pisa quietly vents the air at 1.3 - 3.2 sones and includes an aluminum mesh filter for easy cleaning. The Pisa also features an optional recirculating kit and has a mounting height of 24- to 32-inches.

With its small footprint, ultra-quiet blower and recirculating options for ductless installations, the Tornado Mini power pack is ideal for smaller, custom applications. The Tornado Mini can fit into a standard 12-inch depth cabinet and an optional adjustable-depth stainless steel liner is available to accommodate larger custom hood enclosures. Features include dual level halogen lights, Mechanical Slide controls, three speed levels and an aluminum mesh filter. The Tornado Mini is available in a 20-inch width, which is the smallest power pack in the collection and a testament to Zephyr truly having an option for every kitchen hood installation.
