RICHMOND, VA--(Marketwired - June 10, 2014) - Henrico-based Allianz Global Assistance USA today named the recipients of the first wave of its 2014 corporate giving program. The Travel Aid Grant (TAG) program supports non-profit organizations across the country whose project, program or initiative is enhanced or achieved through travel.
Travel Aid Grants are administered by the company's Corporate Social Responsibility team, which meets twice a year to award grants based on a program's merits and beneficiaries. During this contribution wave, Allianz Global Assistance awarded four organizations $5,000 each for a total of $20,000. Total grants through the TAG program have now reached $50,000.
Recipients of the first wave of 2014 philanthropic grants are:
