The Smart Player utilizes iSIGN's United States patented software for its "method and system for out-of-home proximity marketing and for delivering awareness information" to provide a unique unit that combines the ability to simultaneously manage content on up to two digital signs while delivering messages to mobile devices in proximity to the Smart Player, all while gathering shopper interactions for real-time and future analysis. The Smart Player is capable of being connected to retailers' Point-of-Sale ("POS") systems, to integrate mobile messaging and POS data (closing the loop) in real-time, delivering higher dollar value insights for comprehensive analytic purposes. This will combine anonymous preferential data with all payment methods, not currently available elsewhere.
iSIGN's newest product, designed and built for both indoor and outdoor installations, includes a number of features, including but not limited to: (i) emulates Apple's iBeacon and allows users of iBeacon apps to connect with the Smart Player via Bluetooth® connectivity; (ii) a waterproof 6 1/2" x 2" x 6 1/2" enclosure, fully tested to withstand temperatures ranging from -45 to +85 degrees Celsius; (iii) separate Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi controllers with intelligent frequency share which eliminates interference and allows interactions with 31 phones simultaneously with continuous discovery of mobile devices in proximity; (iv) built-in wireless connectivity, allowing for remote management and statistical support, certified for Verizon network use, but also capable of connecting to other major global networks; (v) requires only a 120 Vac electrical connection with a forecasted power use of only 6 watts; (vi) at two pounds and under 7" in length and height (excluding antennas) it is fully portable and easy to mount anywhere; and (vii) supports signage networks running any Android playback software capable of running on Android 4.2 with dual screens.
