MCPc Acquires Forquer Group

MCPc, a Nationwide Technology Consultancy and Integrator, Has Acquired Strategic Technology Consultants the Forquer Group

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwired - June 12, 2014) - MCPc, a nationwide technology consultancy and integrator, today announced it has acquired the Forquer Group, a private strategic technology consulting firm based in Erie, Pennsylvania.

The Forquer Group has served the northern Midwest since 1995, providing expert information technology solutions and consulting to clientele including major manufacturers, academic institutions, and health care providers. The Forquer Group has coordinated with the internal IT departments of various sizes of businesses, from the SMB to the enterprise, and manages a robust staff augmentation program. These services are typically long-term, with on-premise personnel assisting companies with their complex IT challenges.

"This is an outstanding fit for our two organizations," said Mike Trebilcock, chief executive officer of MCPc. "MCPc and the Forquer Group are aligned both culturally and characteristically, and we could not have found a better partner in this region. We are looking forward to merging our companies and bringing MCPc's presence to the Erie market," Trebilcock continued. MCPc has a staff augmentation program which complements the Forquer Group's, and the two companies will work to blend their business, onboarding, and execution processes. This combination of companies will be adding the Forquer Group's 32 employees to MCPc.

"We are quite excited about what MCPc can bring to our clients," said Russell Forquer, president and founder of the Forquer Group. "With our more than 20 years of award-winning experience in IT for the SMB, outsourced IT, and enterprise consulting, this combination with MCPc will absolutely stun our client base. Erie's IT community has its best years ahead of it." Forquer continued. Matthew Lechner, managing partner of the Forquer Group, said, "In our working with businesses across the Midwest, we have always had a sense of excellence, and a sense of urgency, in fulfilling what our clients were looking for. We've always received great feedback, but we have constantly been searching for what more we could provide. Now, with MCPc, we can go well beyond the bar we've already set with our clients, and work to revolutionize their technology environments in new and meaningful ways."

Both MCPc and the Forquer Group maintain partnerships with major manufacturers of technology, including Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, NetApp, and VMware. Additionally, the Forquer Group's expertise will enhance MCPc's managed services, consulting, staff augmentation, and engineering personnel. The acquisition will be effective July 1, 2014.
