Purple Communications Announces Seasoned Telecommunications Leader as New President

Purple Names 23-Year Telecommunications Veteran Robert Rae as President

ROCKLIN, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/17/14 -- Purple Communications, Inc., the leading provider of innovative communications for people who are deaf and hard of hearing, has appointed Robert Rae as president. Rae brings 23 years of experience leading advanced technology companies in telecommunications, digital marketing and online education.

Prior to Purple, Rae was president and chief operating officer for Academic Partnerships, a global outsourcing provider in higher education. He has also served as chief information officer for Mosaic Sales Solutions, chief operating officer and executive vice president for Securus Technologies, and vice president of operations for EngineX Networks. Additionally, Rae has 12 granted patents, as well as several pending.

Rae's responsibilities include leading company executive oversight and management, day-to-day management and overall strategic initiatives.
