The Martian Notifier was designed for the fashion-conscious consumer who wants a notification-enabled watch that brings real-time alerts offered by thousands of lifestyle apps available in the App Store and Google Play Store. No SDK required! The watch also features an industry-first -- "Smart Notifications," a combination of alert filters, customized vibration capabilities, notification recall and history review, so you can know what's happening on your smartphone without even looking at your phone or watch.

The free Martian Notifier App allows the "smart notification" support: it first lets you filter the notification types you want sent to the watch, so you receive only those that are most important to you. Secondly, it allows customized vibration patterns for each type of alert, letting you know if you've just received, for example, an email, text message or news alert without even looking at your watch, let alone your phone. Finally, you can recall the most recent message with just a tap of the watch face, or scroll through multiple past notifications for a quick review.

The Martian Notifier line features an integrated OLED readout that delivers real-time alerts and notifications from the convenience of your wrist including Caller ID, Calendar, Weather, texts, email (POP or IMAP), Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, favorite games, bank alerts, fitness stats, news headlines, sports and all other alerts your smartphone allows such as StubHub, ESPN SportsCenter, Runmeter, Foursquare, Words with Friends and others. This feature-rich app enables numerous other features such as accurate world clock, local weather, silent alarms, wireless leash, remote smartphone camera control and more.

"Future Shop is the leading provider of consumer electronics in Canada, and we are excited to partner with them to introduce our smartwatches to the region," said Stan Kinsey, President of Martian Watches. "The Martian Notifier makes the perfect gift for the style-conscious, on-the-go, tech-enthusiasts."

Compatibility, Price & Availability
With the Martian Notifier line, iPhone users of iOS 7.1 or higher now have the ability to receive every notification that is shown in the iPhone's Notification Center. Android users can receive notifications from any app that is installed on their phone and provides a push notification.

The Martian Notifier is offered at $149 CDN.

Martian App and Watch menus will support English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Texts and emails will appear on the watch in almost any language in which they are sent (Western languages and most Asian languages).

In addition, Future Shop also sells the award-winning Martian Voice Command line of smartwatches -- the world's first voice command smartwatch for $299 CDN. This sophisticated Bluetooth-enabled watch allows avid smartphone users to get notifications, use voice commands and make and receive calls through the Martian Watch while making a definitive style statement.
